How to convert an NWC to IFC

NWC vs NWD — does it change the conversion?

No. An NWC is a cache — one native model exported to Navisworks' lightweight format. An NWD is a published document that can hold a whole federated model. Both carry geometry and properties, and both convert here the same way. If you have a published document instead, use convert NWD to IFC; the full comparison is in NWD vs NWC vs NWF.

What is an NWC file?

Can Navisworks export an NWC to IFC?

No. Navisworks has no IFC export in any edition. Converting it with a standalone tool like Veksle is the way to get IFC out of it.
